Recent diatribe by the "scion" of the Congress party has clearly indicated, who actually controls the politics and policies of this Govt. The MMS govt is just a good cover for a badly edited book which finds it tough to find readers. The actual control is with THE family. We need to know and question them, what is their qualification which makes them eligible to get this status?
Now I come to the dual control on the Govt and how it is worst than the Chinese dual control. Lets first talk about Chinese system. In China, there are two parallel systems. The first one is the State or the Govt and the the second is the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) system. The state is, how the world perceives the system to be. However the entire system of Governance is controlled by CCP. All the decisions are taken by a collective CCP Politburo. The Govt is just executing the decisions and ensuring that the CCP authority is not challenged.
In our case the actual decisions are taken by the Mother-Son duo. Others act as stooges and align themselves to the line taken by the Mother-Son duo. The apt example is the U-turn by Kamal Nath within a matter of few minutes. This shows how flexible our congrssmen have become and their high capability to bend over backwards to appease The Family. We could clearly make out the foolish smile on Mr Kamal Nath's face and his struggling to justify what his master had said in the middle of the Press Conference. The MMS Govt is just a puppet in the hands of The Family and I am sure our beloved PM will find a trajectory that aligns with the line taken by the Scion.
Now let me justify, how it is worst than the Chinese duality in Governance. In China there is collectivity of 09 Politburo member who take decision and they come from strict selection procedure. They undergo a grueling training scheme and promoted over a period of time unlike our dynastic system. The politburo decisions are ratified by Politburo Selection Committe (25 members) and Central Committee (over 500 members).
Now lets talk about duality in Governance in our country. In our case The Family has authority to overrule any decision taken by the cabinet. There is no system of ratification in Congress Party as party democracy is only preached not practiced in this party. The utterances of the family becomes the thumb rule or yardstick. The limited number of intellectuals in the party has been sidelined and their place has been taken over by the stooges.
My blog by no means justifies the CCP system of fuctioning and disagree with what the Scion has said against the Ordnance. My blog is against the timing and manner in which the utterances were made. By this MMS finds himself in the same shoes as Nawaj Sharief. In fact MMS's case is worst. In Pakistan, the control is with the Army which in the case of India is with The Family.
